Oh what a long weekend it was in my household. All 3 of us have been fighting a nasty cold bug that just won't go away! I came back to school this afternoon feeling overwhelmed with all there was to catch up on and weak from being on the couch for 5 days to find a huge get well note from the class on our door. I don't like to be away from school and it was nice to hear that the kids missed me too. Thank you Colby for coming up with the card idea and to everyone who contributed. I am proud of your kindness and thoughtfulness. You certainly made my day :)

For parents: I had the supply teacher send home a Valentine's Day note for me and an electronic celebration note went home today. Since I haven't been here, I won't do a weekly report this week. I also cancelled homework since I wasn't there to mark and get it back in time. I have most report card pages signed and returned, thank you!
